As of this post, I've had the coolfactor.ca domain registered for 12 years, 2 months and 8 days, but I never really used it as I had originally intended. That all changes today. It is with great pleasure that I formally announce my personal website here at coolfactor.ca.
Until now, I've always stood behind my company's name, The Digital Orchard, but now I'd like to step out into the spotlight and share with the world about who I am as a person, my personal interests, and have a more laid-back approach to blogging. This site will work hand-in-hand with my professional business site to communicate to my friends, family, clients and colleagues what I offer to the world through my interest in programming and database design, and will also step out into nature to showcase my love of the natural world around us.
I also have a great interest in Apple products, beginning with my love affair with a Mac SE back when I was only 15 years old. That's also when I discovered HyperCard and fell in love with programming and database design. Apple has always been known for its "cool factor" in designing products, and hence why I chose this name as an online identity.
Let the journey begin...
